30 Days Of Gaming, Day 2: ‘Your Favourite Character’
Other notable candidates within this category included the likes of Solid Snake, Super Mario and Sonic the Hedgehog but it was the spikey-haired, buster sword-wielding Cloud Strife that took the plaudits.
He’s a complex and intriguing fella whose story is far too deep to even bother trying to explain over tumblr. Nonetheless, his tranformation from ass to bad ass over the course of the Final Fantasy VII series is one which left a little soft spot in my heart for the lad.
He’s the main protagonist in what I would consider my favourite RPG of all time and he was part of a storyline which helped form my love for the fantasy/role-playing genre and for that, I thank him.
